Workplace safety is the responsibility of everyone in an organisation including person in non-profit organisation. Companies have legal obligations to meet certain safety requirements, but many go further than the basic obligations. Safety standards and procedures must be put in place, and everyone needs to follow the standards in order for them to be effective. This training session provides participants with a detailed understanding of the Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994/2022. Through in-depth discussions and case studies, participants will learn about their rights and responsibilities under the OSHA legislation, key regulatory requirements, and compliance obligations for employers and employees. By the end of the training, participants will be equipped with the knowledge necessary to navigate OSHA regulations effectively and contribute to a safe working environment. This presentation will provide an overview on the handling of accidents and incidents are integral part of safety at workplace. Participants will also be exposed to ESG where OSHA is relevant.
